Easy Midi. Midi Sound cards

Easymid can work with any card that Windows detects. Now to be able to use all the potency of some cards is necessary to have some knowledge on them. I will comment two sound cards, which I have used in my experience with EasyMid. All the cards at least bring 127 sounds.
ReadI the tutorial first before going on to the details of configuration of these two cards, since it is not essential until you want to improve the sounds.

Sound Blaster 5.1.

Proved with Pentium 350 and 128 Megas of Ram. The advantage of this card is that it can load sound banks in the memory RAM of the PC. You can download these banks on Internet, but it is tedious to be looking, trying and installing. That's why I recommend to you the EMU 0404 that comes with lot's of sounds and soft .

Sound quality is sufficient .
Configuration Interface : easy.

EMU 0404

Sincerely, this is magic. The price is 100 Euros but it is another world. Proved with a Pentium 1000 with 750 MB of RAM. Although I made it work with 250 of RAM,but I didn't use the advanced characteristics that I am going to comment.

-Sound quality: great.
-Configuration Interface: strange.

You can get good songs with EasyMid and sound's car control called PatchMix.
Cool effects to audio with PatchMix

This card come's with the synthesizer software Proteus with lots of sounds. There are 34 GB banks sounds for Proteus (Only a "few" in this card)
At the moment to accessing Proteus sounds you must use Cubase that comes with the card. Run Cubase , and redirect midi output to Proteus, that is execute as a plug-in on Cubase. Then run EasyMid.
